 PRINCIPAL - MISS JADE GEARY Intensity Dance Pty Ltd was founded in 2010 by Jade Geary who wanted to share her love for dance. Her knowledge of dance includes 29 years dance experience and 14 years dance teaching experience. Miss Jade is a qualified and trained teacher with Ballet Australasia. She is also a school teacher and has spent 11 years working for the Department of Education and Training. Miss Jade is also a registered and qualified Zumba® Fitness Instructor. Miss Jade has choreographed various successful National Final routines that include Wakakirri, J Rock and Aerobics. She has also coordinated and choreographed interstate dance group tours. Miss Jade has worked with Warner Bros., Popset (Penrith, Balmain and Illawarra Hawks Cheerleading Squad) and Multi Mo Award Winner Joey Fimmano. Miss Jade will be taking a group of students to the USA in 2012 to attend dance workshops in Los Angeles and New York. She will be teaching various classes in 2012. These include BAL Exam Ballet and Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Performance Classes, Pointe, Stretch and Flex and Zumba Fitness®.  HIP HOP - MR WILLIAM William is trained in all areas of hip hop including Nu school hip hop, Locking, Popping, Dancehall and House, just to name a few. He is also trained in Classical Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz. William is currently attending the ‘Ev and Bow’ Academy under the wing of Sarah Boulter. He has trained with prominent choreographers including: Sarah Boulter, Jason Winters, Andre Fuentes (Britney Spears Choreographer), Tony Czar, Cass Smith, Kennis Marquis, Tabatha and Napoleon and many more. William will be taking Hip Hop classes on Mondays at Bonnyrigg Heights Primary School. Her training ranges from contemporary to commercial jazz/hip hop. Some of Miss Stephanie’s credits include; Choreographing and being a lead dancer in Sabrina Mitwali’s video clip “Sexy on ya” Ft Israel Cruz, backup dancing for Thirsty Merc and performing alongside Jessica Mauboy and DJ Havanna Brown at Z Generation music festival. Currently Miss Stephanie is attending ACPE studying a Bachelor of Dance Education to further her knowledge and apply it to her teaching. Miss Stephanie will be teaching Jazz, Contemporary & Open Hip Hop on Wednesdays at Hinchinbrook Public School.  TINY TOTS AND JUNIORS - MISS NATALIE Miss Natalie has 11 years dance training and three years dance teaching experience. She toured Europe in 2011 to participate in various dance workshops to further her dance skills. Miss Natalie attained a High Distinction in her recent dance exam and has performed at State Dance Festivals and Dreamworld. Miss Natalie will be teaching Juniors, Tiny Tots and Intermediate Jazz.  JUNIOR TAP AND JUNIOR HIP HOP - MISS MICHAELA Miss Michaela has been trained in many styles of dance from a young age. She has performed at Dreamworld and has been accepted into next years CASPA presentation where she will be featured in the hip hop dance segment. Miss Michaela will be touring the USA taking part in various dance workshops in Los Angeles and New York in 2012. She has completed her most recent tap exam with Honours. Miss Michaela will be teaching Junior Hip Hop and Junior Tap on Thursdays.  CONTEMPORARY AND ACROBATICS - MISS ALLYRA Miss Allyra is trained in Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop and Acrobatics. She has completed a 1 Year Full Time course Ed5 International Certificate IV in 2010. Some of Miss Allyra's credits include: Shrek Show - Dancer/Host ING Ball - Dancer Ricky Lee Coulter - Dancer MTV Awards and Dolly Choice Awards - Dancer So You Think You Can Dance- Dancer Angus and Julia Stone Productions - Film Clip Dancer ABC Studios 'Dance Academy' Series 2 - Dancer Miss Allyra will be teaching Intermediate Contemporary on Wednesdays and Acrobatics on Fridays. 
CHEERLEADING- COACH TARA Coach Tara entered the world of Cheerleading in 2001 through one of Australia's first American style Cheerleading teams, SWC and eventually took up a permanent position in the management team as assistant to the coach. She then became involved in many National and International appearances and has been a valued performer in many of Australia's largest Dance and Cheer Teams. Coach Tara is a qualified Cheer Instructor holding the following: IASF - International Instructor AUSPORT - Level 1 Coaching Principals Gymnastics Australia - Level 1 Cheer Gymnastics Australia - Level 1 Cheer Judge 2010 NSW GYMNSW - Cheer Coaching Coordinator 
SINGING - MISS SHEENA Starting at the age of 7, performing at numerous shopping centres and clubs, Miss Sheena gathered much experience in singing/performing solo and in a duet. The Sydney Entertainment Centre welcomed her solo performance in 2005 at the CASPA presentations where she also took part in the dance ensemble. Whilst completing her Bachelor of Contemporary Music at the Australian Institute of Music over the past 3 years, Miss Sheena has taught singing privately at a high standard. She teaches all her students to develop a unique sense of musical knowledge and vocal technique. Performance skills are also developed through physical training which broadens the opportunity of her students. In 2009 Miss Sheena took to the Australian Idol auditions where she was placed in the top 60. In September of 2011 Miss Sheena made the top 6 singing groups for the TV series X Factor with her group 'Femme Da Funk'. Miss Sheena will be teaching singing classes on Tuesdays at Hinchinbrook Community Centre. |
